This is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled Transportation Design Engineer to join our team at CONSOR Engineers. As a key member of our transportation design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality transportation design projects, including intelligent transportation systems, connected vehicle technologies, traffic signal design, signing and striping design, and various traffic studies.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of roadway design, traffic design, and ITS design packages for transportation projects.
- Monitor compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices.
- Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
- Collect and process data for topographic surveys and right-of-way engineering for use in design analysis.
- Develop and write technical documents.
- Follow our quality control process to ensure high-caliber work products.
- Maintain cooperative working relationships through effective communication.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
- 0-3 years of professional transportation engineering experience.
- Knowledgeable in computer-aided drafting and design systems.
- Specify any experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD.
- Effective communication skills: both oral and written for team collaboration and interpersonal relationships developed with employees and clients.
