Job Title: Academic CRNA

Temple University Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team.

Job Summary:

The CRNA will deliver procedural anesthesia care as part of a team under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer general, regional anesthetics or Monitored Anesthesia Care during surgical and/or obstetrical procedures under the medical direction of an attending Anesthesiologist.
  • Evaluate situations and inform attending Anesthesiologist of patient's condition; recommend anesthetics to be used; techniques of administration and supportive measures necessary for approval by attending physician as required by departmental guidelines.
  • Monitor and record the patient's vital signs, records all medication administered to the patient and related reaction and responses.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Bachelors Degree: Nursing (Required)
  • Masters Degree: Nursing (Preferred)
  • 1 Year experience in critical care nursing as part of successful completion of CRNA program (Required)
  • 2 Years experience in an academic medical center OR as a CRNA. (Preferred)
  • RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
  • CRNA - Cert Registered Nurse Anesth (Required)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
