The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services for A&C Private Home Care. The RN will oversee personal care, companionship, and sitter services provided to clients, ensuring adherence to established standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise personal care tasks for clients identified as medically vulnerable or compromised.
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and mental health needs, including monitoring vital signs and documenting any changes in the client's health status.
3. Educate clients on self-care practices and coordinate care plans with physicians and other healthcare providers.
4. Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication with all parties involved in the client's care.
Standard Duties Include:
• Evaluating client needs and developing service plans.
• Implementing preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
• Preparing clinical progress notes.
• Collaborating with other service providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Notifying physicians and case managers of any changes in the client's condition or additional requirements.
• Providing health-related education tailored to client needs.
• Supervising and mentoring other healthcare personnel.
• Coordinating specialized therapies and overseeing services for medically fragile clients.
Payment Structure:
A&C Private Home Care will compensate the RN based on the agreed terms, which may include a per-visit fee and mileage reimbursement for travel related to client care.
Independent Contractor Status:
The RN will operate as an independent contractor, responsible for all applicable taxes and compliance with local regulations regarding permits and licenses necessary for providing care.
Insurance Requirements:
The RN must maintain adequate insurance coverage to protect against potential liabilities arising from their professional activities.
