The Employment Consultant plays a crucial role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in securing suitable employment opportunities. This position involves personalized assistance to help clients identify job prospects that align with their unique skills and interests. The consultant provides comprehensive support throughout the job search journey and offers coaching during the onboarding process to facilitate a smooth transition into the workplace.

Key Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in supporting individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and Office 365 applications
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Flexibility to travel locally and work during evenings and weekends when necessary

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in identifying job opportunities that correspond with their skills and interests
