Key Responsibilities- Utilize strong listening skills to assess patient needs and provide safe, timely disposition of health-related problems.
- Provide patient education and advice to improve continuity of care, avoid unnecessary visits to the emergency room, and reduce risks from medical complications.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient complaints and medical history to identify symptom patterns and provide appropriate care.
- Refill medications as per clinic-specific protocols.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.
- CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- Two (2) years of ambulatory clinical nursing experience or emergency room experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate team-based care.
