Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Continuing Medical Education Coordinator to join our team at Christus Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities through the Mayo Clinic Care Network and maintaining accurate records for the accredited CME program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate CME activities and ensure compliance with accreditation guidelines and policies.
  • Develop and implement effective educational programs that meet the needs of physicians, leaders, and associates.
  • Provide strong support to ongoing inter-professional educational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify educational needs and develop targeted programs.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases related to CME activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve program effectiveness and participant engagement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Education, Health Care Administration, Community Health, Public Health, Business Administration, Human Resources, Program Management, or Organizational Development.
  • Recent, relevant work experience in Continuing Medical Education, physician relations, physician quality, or senior administrative duties.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong understanding of group process and ability to function independently.
  • Proficiency in software applications, data bases, and transcription equipment.
  • Demonstrated medical knowledge and terminology.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a clean, well-lit, ventilated, and smoke-free environment. The position requires the ability to speak, listen, develop, and communicate with written materials.

Supervision

The Continuing Medical Education Coordinator will report to the Director, Medical Staff Office.
