Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure high-quality images
  • Assess patient conditions and take necessary steps to ensure patient safety
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Registered Medical Sonographer or Reg Cardiac Sonographer - CCI or Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association certification
  • Minimum 1 year experience in echocardiography or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
