Key Responsibilities:
- Develop stock selection models that integrate quantitative techniques with fundamental analysis inputs.
- Back-test investment strategies, optimize risk/return profiles, and create innovative methods for portfolio construction and investment processes.
- Conduct risk and return analyses to identify performance drivers, evaluate strategy contours, and discover opportunities to enhance risk-adjusted returns.
- Collaborate actively in research, investment ideation, product development, and portfolio management.
- Engage in client communications regarding strategies and the investment process.
- MBA or Master's degree with an undergraduate background in data analytics, computer science, engineering, statistics, or related fields.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quantitative or data analytics role within the asset management sector.
- Solid understanding of global capital markets and macroeconomic relationships.
- Experience in implementing systematic equity investment strategies.
- Strong grasp of accounting data, company fundamentals, and equity analysis.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or R.
- Comfortable utilizing portfolio management and data environments like FactSet.
- Able to convey complex topics in an accessible manner to clients.
- Effectively communicates ideas, takes responsibility for outcomes, and collaborates well within a team.
- Practical problem-solving approach.
- Strong economic intuition and investment mindset.
- Ability to recognize the limitations of models and critically assess results.
