Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Operating Technician to join our team in Irvine, CA. As an Operating Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our manufacturing equipment, ensuring high-quality production and efficient operations.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.
- Collaborate with manufacturing leaders to establish, implement, and enhance standard work in the area.
- Conduct training for operators on standard work and trouble-shooting techniques, evaluating the effectiveness of training.
- Recommend changes to operating procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs, including LPMS, 5S, KATA, and Kaizen events.
- Troubleshoot machine/line stoppage, perform repairs, and facilitate the escalation process for additional technical support as required.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities during machine downtime, partnering with operations, mechanics, and engineers as needed.
- Monitor production quality and take action according to standard work/SOP.
- Complete appropriate documentation, including batch records, log books, PM, and DM, following good documentation practices.
- High school diploma/GED required; Associate's or technical degree preferred.
- 5-8 years related experience or technical requirements completed and pass assessment at an appropriate level.
- Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
- Regular and predictable on-site attendance.

This is a production/manufacturing environment with moderate noise intensity. The employee is expected to exert up to 40 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or 10 lbs force constantly to move objects.
The employee is expected to reach upward and downward, push/pull, stand, sit, and perform other physical demands as described in the job description.
