We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Quality Control Inspector to join our team at MGP Inc. in Cleveland, OH. This entry-level position is responsible for inspecting and properly filling out quality control forms for the bottling line. The ideal candidate will also complete any other duties assigned by the Bottling Supervisor as deemed necessary. It is also required that all safety and Good Manufacturing Procedure (GMP) requirements are met.

  • Complete all required OSHA safety training courses
  • Observe the bottles going down the production line and identify errors
  • Hand pack bottles into shipping containers
  • Locate the required information on each package to verify that the required components are being used
  • Comprehend fill height requirements and identify necessary changes
  • Cleaning and Sanitation:
    • Properly shut down all areas and clean each piece of equipment on the line
    • Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures for the safety of our consumers and your co-workers
  • Complete all required quality forms in a timely manner
  • Read and follow the production schedule
  • Understand all aspects of a production work ticket
  • Other duties as assigned, which may include performing duties outside of your job description or department

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to remain organized
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be capable of multi-tasking
  • Must possess excellent time management skills
  • Can remain calm in a fast-paced environment
