Clinical Nurse Practitioner

About the Role:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at CHI St. Josephs Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our clinic setting. Under the direction of a physician or registered nurse, you will provide nursing care to patients, evaluating their needs and providing physical or psychosocial care. Your compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills will help our patients feel at ease, and your ability to explain complex processes and answer questions will ensure they are well-informed and engaged in their care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, collecting and comparing data to identify normal findings and current health status.
- Report changes in assessment and responses to interventions to registered nurses or licensed healthcare providers.
- Participate in developing and modifying patient care plans.
- Implement interventions delegated or ordered by licensed healthcare providers.
- Assign and monitor nursing tasks or activities to unlicensed assistive personnel.
- Provide safe and effective nursing care delivery.
- Promote a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Advocate for the best interests of individual patients.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of LPN education program.
- Active BLS certification.
- LPN license in the State of Minnesota.
