Casual Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide exceptional care for patients of all ages at our Walk-In Clinics. This role is ideal for both new and experienced practitioners looking for a casual (PRN) opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality acute care in collaboration with a team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians.
- Manage a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of medical needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently while also collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Work Schedule:
The typical schedule will vary, including 8 to 11-hour shifts at our Walk-In Clinics and potential outreach clinics. Flexibility is essential as shifts may include:
- Park Rapids Walk-In Clinic: Open Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:30 pm, and Saturday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
- Detroit Lakes Urgent Care: Open Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 7:30 pm, and weekends from 8:00 am – 3:30 pm.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse and as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the appropriate state.
- Current CPR certification and national certification in the applicable area.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong health assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Experience in Walk-In, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine is preferred.
Compensation:
The compensation for this position is competitive, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
