About the Role

Cockram Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager Cost Control Specialist to lead project cost management functions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project controls procedures, developing and maintaining project cost in the Cost Management Tool, and supporting the Project Manager on cost reporting and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost control, project estimating, procurement, and contracts. A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in capital project management is required. Bio/pharmaceutical experience is preferred but not required.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead project cost management functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain project cost in the Cost Management Tool according to control accounts guidelines.
  • Perform reconciliation of cost data from local accounting systems to the project controls system of record.
  • Support the Project Manager on cost reporting, forecasting, and negotiation of contracts and change orders.
