We are seeking a skilled Clinical Technician to provide high-quality patient care under the guidance of a nurse and contribute to the smooth operation of our Neurology Unit in downtown Naples, FL.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with daily activities and reinforcing patient care activities under the direction of licensed professionals.
- Manage multiple patient care assignments based on unit acuity and staffing levels, ensuring timely and organized completion of tasks.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Recognize and respond to patient emergencies, including performing CPR when indicated.
- Enter accurate and timely documentation into the electronic medical record, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with the primary care partner to report pertinent patient changes and clinical findings.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- One of the following: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), RN student, Graduate of an RN program, or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with current valid Florida licensure
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in electronic medical records
