Position Overview

The Travel MRI Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services to patients. This position requires a dedicated professional who can operate independently while adhering to established protocols.

Certification Requirements
  • MRI Certification is mandatory.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is preferred.
  • Holding a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT is advantageous.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide timely imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the supervision of a Radiologist.
  • Adjust imaging parameters to effectively study various body systems, including soft tissue, arterial systems, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast media.
Experience and Skills
  • Must have experience working independently.
  • Proficiency with Siemens Symphony Momentum is required.
  • Preferred candidates will have graduated from an accredited AMA program and hold a current state license as a general radiographer.
Work Schedule
  • Shifts are scheduled during the day, from 7 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday through Friday.
  • On-call duties are required from 5 PM to 7 AM, including weekends.

This position is a result of an internal vacancy due to leave coverage. The facility is looking for a qualified individual to fill this role effectively.
