Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician to join our team at Pine Rest. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing physical and emotional care to clients with mental illness and/or developmental delays. You will work under general supervision and according to departmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a safe and secure environment for clients and staff in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement person-centered care plans.
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom.
- Participate in safety management, crisis intervention, and prevention.
- Document progress notes, medication administration, and other relevant information.
- Completion of a minimum of six months post-high school education in behavioral sciences or equivalent.
- CNA certification or one to two years of college education preferred.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
