About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Home Health Physical Therapist to join our team in Arcola, Virginia. As a Physical Therapist with BAYADA Home Health Care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adult and geriatric clients in their homes.

About the Position:

  • Make outpatient visits to clients in designated senior living communities.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility and range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing, and safety assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
  • Continuously assess and revise the Physical Therapy plan of care, participating in multidisciplinary care plan meetings.
  • Educate and instruct clients, family members, or community staff on therapy services and activities necessary for health, safety, and independent living.
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided.

About You:

  • Current VA Physical Therapist license.
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
