Job Summary

The Complimentary AM Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests in a timely and courteous manner within the complimentary breakfast area of a hotel. This role requires a strong understanding of hotel-brand standards, guest expectations, and the unique characteristics of the hotel and local area.

Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain a clean and organized breakfast area, restocking supplies and cleaning as needed.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages, adhering to hotel standards and quality control measures.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including side work duties and cash handling.
  • Assist with special requests and events, such as room service and catering.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must meet the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages and pass a responsible serving course, such as TIPS.
  • Food Handlers card required.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude.
