Job Title: Parts Coordinator - Automotive Repair Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to join our team at The Boyd Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of parts to our repair centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order and Receive Parts: Work with vendors to order and receive all parts as indicated on the repair orders, confirming the quality, correctness, and quantity of parts received.
  • Parts Distribution: Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule.
  • Inventory Management: Label and track all parts by the R.O.# and store them with the vehicle and/or scheduled repairs.
  • Vendor Management: Communicate all Parts Price Changes (also known as Parts Price Increases - PPI) to all required team members.
  • Invoice Management: Enter all parts invoices into the recommended Management Information System (MIS) and ensure invoices and credit memos are posted and filed/scanned in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts is a bonus)
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and strong organizational ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritize tasks.
