Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

Role Summary: This role involves providing specialized speech-language pathology services to a diverse pediatric demographic, encompassing patients from infancy through young adulthood. The Speech Pathologist-Float will engage in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique developmental and functional needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and implement treatment strategies for a variety of speech and language disorders, including cognitive communication, voice, feeding, and swallowing challenges. Demonstrate expertise in child development and apply age-appropriate therapeutic techniques, ensuring a family-centered approach to care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with clear, functional, and measurable objectives, collaborating with families to ensure understanding and agreement on care strategies.
- Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and institutional policies, contributing to quality management initiatives.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration, engaging with various healthcare professionals and community resources to enhance the effectiveness of patient care plans.
- Foster professional relationships within the department and the broader community, participating in educational programs and mentoring support staff and students.
