Job Summary

DLB Associates is seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Field Senior Associate to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all systems are installed to project requirements in accordance with the Project Documents, Basis of Design (BOD), the Commissioning Plan of Record, and the Quality Control Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing on-site inspections, validation, and verification of electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Monitor daily MEP contractor activities.
  • Conduct inspections throughout project stages, including offsite fabrication, construction, and punch list phases.
  • Collaborate with design professionals, clients, trade contractors, and craftsmen to address coordination issues and installation challenges.
  • Attend and contribute to QA/QC and construction team meetings.
  • Inspect Owner Furnished Equipment, both offsite and onsite.
  • Evaluate subcontractors' capabilities in meeting quality requirements.
  • Ensure all trade contractors are installing work in accordance with project documents, applicable codes, standards, and best work practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls system principles.
  • Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management.
  • Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment through effective communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness, and resourcefulness in a distraction-free workspace.
  • Ability to follow company and site safety requirements.
  • Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form (technical and non-technical information).
  • Ability to communicate effectively directly with clients and at times serve as primary point of client contact.
  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with moderate supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines.
  • Ability to achieve certification for NFPA70E and/or OSHA training as/if required.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
