Position Overview
Marksman Security is currently seeking a dedicated Security Patrol Officer.
Multiple shifts are available with a competitive pay rate of $18.50 per hour.
The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in security or customer service roles. Assistance with state training and licensing may be provided for eligible applicants.
Note: A valid PERC card is required or candidates must be willing to obtain one.

Key Responsibilities:
Security Officers, often known as Security Guards, play a crucial role in deterring criminal activity, safeguarding property, and enforcing regulations on-site.

Duties may include monitoring surveillance systems and alarms from a fixed location, as well as conducting patrols and security inspections.

In corporate and industrial settings, Security Officers ensure the safety of equipment and personnel while verifying the credentials of vehicles and individuals entering and exiting the premises.


Available Positions:

Rover:
Conduct foot or vehicle patrols, focusing on identifying suspicious activities and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal acts.

Gatehouse:

Welcome residents and visitors with a courteous attitude, verify identification, log visitor vehicles, announce arrivals, and manage access to the property.


Front Desk:

Provide a warm greeting to all guests, ensuring excellent customer service, managing access control, monitoring CCTV systems, announcing visitors, and distributing packages.


Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid state licensing, if applicable
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with report writing
- Experience in monitoring and surveillance
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- Previous security experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- A valid PERC card is required or candidates must be willing to obtain one.
