The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care setting. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician to deliver compassionate and individualized care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care
- Assess residents' physical and psychosocial needs and develop care plans to meet their needs
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
