LPN Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Interim HealthCare Staffing, you'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including long-term care facilities, medical offices, and hospitals. Our LPNs enjoy flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and a supportive management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries, and diseases under the supervision of providers.
  • Work with a team of physicians, nurses, CNAs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Take patient vitals, do assessments, document progress, and report changes to providers.
  • Assist in carrying out physician's orders, patient care, and prescribed treatments.
  • Administer medication, operate medical equipment, and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and an active LPN license in Colorado.
  • CPR certification (demonstration course required).
  • 6 months of work experience as an LPN or CNA.
  • Valid TB screening.
  • COVID-19 vaccination card.
  • Proof of flu vaccination during flu season.
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication, and compassion.
