Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

We are currently seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Lab Calibration Technician to join our team in Chelmsford, MA. As a key member of our laboratory staff, you will be responsible for calibrating a wide variety of mechanical equipment, electronic and temperature control equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy of measurement taken using proper calibration standards.
  • Verify that equipment is correctly calibrated.
  • Analyze and interpret data to complete calibration procedures.
  • Maintain employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Ensure technicians perform work safely, following all company safety requirements.
  • Properly document data and results using Essco and customer policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Three years of experience as an on-bench technician.
  • PMEL training or equivalent formal technical training (preferred).
  • Able to apply metrology experience to a wide range of electronic instrumentation.
  • Familiar with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, and ANSI/NCSL Z-540 requirements.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.

Work Environment:

This role requires occasional travel to customer sites, including professional lab environments, clean rooms, or manufacturing floors. You will also need to drive your personal vehicle for up to several hours daily.
