About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at RPM Living. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our properties, including performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to maintenance requests, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Performing custodial duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
  • Completing grounds work, including picking up trash, cleaning dumpster areas, and blowing the parking area and sidewalks
  • Thoroughly cleaning breezeways, including removing cobwebs, bugs in lights, and wiping down doors and handrails
  • Executing basic landscaping, including trimming and pruning, watering, and monitoring irrigation systems
  • Assisting in the preparation of make-ready units, including removing trash from vacant apartments
  • Operating various maintenance tools, including power washers, trimmers, blowers, and floor scrubbers
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • High school diploma or GED
  • General knowledge in a variety of skilled trades, including construction, installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license
Work Environment

This role is based on-site and requires that the employee spend time outside with exposure to the elements. May require working in confined spaces, heights, and potentially hazardous areas.
