Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join their team in Glens Falls, New York.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT scanning protocols and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Current NY State Rad Tech License
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS certification
  • 1 year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist
  • Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
  • 1 Supervisory Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
