Job Title: Computer Science Teacher

Concorde Education is seeking a skilled Computer Science Teacher to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified educator to plan and facilitate interactive computer science and coding sessions for students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and coding, as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Educational Development to plan and deliver engaging computer science and coding lessons.
  • Assist students in developing their coding skills and provide individualized support as needed.
  • Maintain open communication with the Director of Educational Development and other team members.
  • Model appropriate academic and social behaviors for students.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Educational Development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching and/or tutoring experience, preferably in computer science and coding.
  • Extensive experience in computer science and/or coding, including proficiency in languages such as Scratch, Blockly, and Python.
  • Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to drive future instruction.
  • Ability to work independently and apply critical thinking skills to various situations.
