Job Title: Mixer Driver

BURNCO LLC is seeking an experienced Mixer Driver to join our Firestone Ready Mix division. As a Mixer Driver, you will be responsible for operating a ready-mix truck in urban areas and tight construction sites, ensuring the safe transportation of concrete products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a ready-mix truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Understand and foster a safety culture within the team
  • Safely drive and obey all traffic laws
Requirements:
  • Class B CDL (with air brake endorsement)
  • Clean Driver's abstract and record
  • Concrete mixer truck experience considered an asset
  • Understanding of concrete products
  • Standard or manual transmission experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and be available on short notice
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly exposed to various weather conditions, including hot/cold temperatures and rain/snow conditions
  • Constantly uses eye/hand coordination and near/far vision
  • Frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, bends, reaches, lifts to 50 lbs, carries up to 50 lbs, utilizes manual dexterity, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, color discernment, and requires active hearing/listening
