Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses in Cosmetic Sciences on a part-time limited basis.

Essential Functions
  • Teach assigned courses and seminars, developing and delivering engaging lesson plans to a diverse student body.
  • Provide academic advising and evaluate student coursework, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Engage in activities ancillary to or in support of teaching responsibilities, contributing to the department's mission.
  • Respond promptly to University-related communications, ensuring effective collaboration with colleagues and administrators.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the department or university.
Minimum Requirements

A master's or doctoral degree in Cosmetic Sciences or a related field, along with prior teaching experience, is required.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with the subject.

Able to work and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
