Job Overview

As a part-time Adjunct Faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach, discover, create, and report knowledge to students in a dynamic and supportive academic environment.

Essential Functions
  • Teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars on a part-time basis.
  • May serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework.
  • Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of academic responsibilities.
  • Review and respond to all University-related communications in a timely manner.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Academic degree in an appropriate discipline and prior teaching experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from various backgrounds.

As part of the application process, applicants are required to submit a current Curriculum Vitae (CV) which includes both month and year of education and work experience. Applications will not be reviewed if CVs are not in the required format.

Official transcripts are required during the hiring process. Per the Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines, transcripts should be provided for all nursing higher education degrees obtained which may include Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree through higher levels as applicable.
