Position Overview:
The Commonwealth of Virginia is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Athletics Scorer's Table Personnel. This role is essential in facilitating the smooth operation of game day activities for various intercollegiate sports.

Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Operating the scoreboard
  • Managing game timing
  • Recording statistics
  • Controlling the shot clock
  • Handling the play clock
  • Coordinating video replays
  • Maintaining the scorebook
  • Tracking libero actions
  • Providing additional support for game operations

The hourly wage will vary based on the specific role assigned.

Work Schedule:
Candidates must be available to work during afternoons, evenings, and weekends as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to customer service
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with Athletics staff, officials, and fellow event personnel
  • Familiarity with the rules governing various intercollegiate sports and NCAA regulations

This position is classified as a wage role, which does not include benefits or leave eligibility, and is limited to a maximum of 1500 work hours per year.
