Key Responsibilities
As a Mixologist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Creating exceptional beverages using high-quality ingredients, including spirits, fresh fruits, and herbs.
- Engaging with guests to take drink orders and provide recommendations.
- Mixing cocktails and other beverages according to established standards.
- Maintaining an organized and visually appealing bar area to enhance guest experience.
- Providing knowledgeable insights on wine selections and serving techniques.
- Collaborating with the culinary team to develop unique mixers and garnishes.
- Verifying guest age for alcohol purchases in compliance with regulations.
- Managing cash transactions and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Ensuring the bar is well-stocked and prepared for service.
- Serving food items to patrons seated at the bar.
- Keeping the work area clean and adhering to health and safety standards.
- Participating in mandatory training sessions and meetings.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum of two years of bartending experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of drink recipes and beverage preparation.
- Ability to create unique and innovative drink offerings.
- Strong understanding of wine varieties and service.
- Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive approach to exceeding guest expectations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow directions.
- Familiarity with food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
