The Director, Technical Product Management will lead the development of a best-in-class technical product management team focused on data engineering, analytics, and science products, platforms, and services. This role will drive a vision to advance data and analytics capabilities, work closely with business stakeholders to build business use cases, and collaborate with data governance, data engineering, data science, and machine learning engineers to develop a product roadmap and drive execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing technical product management team to drive data and analytics product development.
- Develop and execute a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and drives data and analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to build business use cases and drive product development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, data governance teams, and engineering teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product development and strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data and analytics.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Cloud (GCP, Azure, AWS) and big data processing technologies (Redshift, Big Query) is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
- Customer-centric and experienced with successful cross-functional collaboration.
