Roadway Design Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Roadway Design Project Manager to join our team at HMB Professional Engineers. As a key member of our transportation family, you will have the opportunity to work on signature projects and mentor junior design staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor junior staff while managing the completion of multiple roadway design tasks
- Coordinate with Project Managers to meet schedule and budget requirements
- Opportunity to be mentored and ultimately take on responsibilities as a Project Manager
- Prepare accurate presentation, design, details, and construction documents
- Prepare permit applications and submittal packages to Agencies having jurisdiction
- Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors, and other parties associated with the project
- Develop and adhere to project scope, schedules, and budgets
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years experience in all technical aspects of roadway design
- Experience in people management or supervision
- Experience with OpenRoads Designer preferred
- PE Certification is preferred
- Detail-oriented individual with strong technical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and standard industry software
- Works well in multidisciplinary team environments and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong oral presentation and written communication skills
