Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor junior staff while managing the completion of multiple roadway design tasks
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to meet schedule and budget requirements
  • Opportunity to be mentored and ultimately take on responsibilities as a Project Manager
  • Prepare accurate presentation, design, details, and construction documents
  • Prepare permit applications and submittal packages to Agencies having jurisdiction
  • Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors, and other parties associated with the project
  • Develop and adhere to project scope, schedules, and budgets

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years experience in all technical aspects of roadway design
  • Experience in people management or supervision
  • Experience with OpenRoads Designer preferred
  • PE Certification is preferred
  • Detail-oriented individual with strong technical and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and standard industry software
  • Works well in multidisciplinary team environments and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong oral presentation and written communication skills
