Boeing is seeking a highly skilled Interiors Qualification Engineer to join our team in Tukwila, WA.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and integrate structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
- Develop, maintain, and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and other design methods.
- Perform and integrate analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- Manage supplier development, test, and production activities and coordinate with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
- Develop new design and analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the development effort.
- Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 1+ years of experience designing structural or interior payload systems.
- Prior experience acting as a technical interface with suppliers.
- Prior experience working with airplane interiors and/or systems.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
- Experience working on wastewater system components.
- 2+ years of experience testing and qualifying components on a Boeing platform, including DO-160 compliance.
- Experience project managing and maintaining several components through a qualification program.
- Experience leading qualification programs.
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Work:This position will be for first shift.
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range $96,050 - $129,950.
