HR Coordinator Specialist

We are seeking an HR Coordinator Specialist to join our team at Granby Ranch.
About the RoleThis is a seasonal position responsible for assisting the HR Manager and Resort Administrator with daily operations and HR-administration functions, including payroll assistance, data maintenance in the HRIS system and SharePoint, employee onboarding/offboarding, personnel file management, and more.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain high credibility, integrity, and skilled communication with managers, HR, and candidates.
- Perform general office duties and provide HR office coverage with a professional, friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Assist with employee housing inspections, data collection, and entry into designated spreadsheets, as well as uniform distribution and returns.
- Greet and assist people with inquiries, answer phones, complete employment verifications, administer hire paperwork and ski vouchers, perform data entry in the HRIS system, maintain personnel files, scan and copy documents, check and respond to emails in a timely manner, and complete other administrative duties.
- Show flexibility in work schedule – be available on weekends and holidays during operating seasons, participate in company orientations and employee functions.
- Support the HR Department with J1 international students' inquiries or requests.
- Contribute to planning and execution of the Pure Awesome employee recognition program and employee events.
- Work in operations during high-volume periods, including guest services and shuttle driving.
- Assist with Winter Season Orientation.
- Serve as a positive, professional role model, adhering to the company's hospitality standards.
- Maintain exceptional guest service in all interactions with guests, fellow employees, and department managers.
- Collaborate with departments to learn critical elements of each position.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College degree preferred.
- Valid Driver's License, good driving record, and insurability under our company policy.
- Administrative/office experience required.
- Previous Human Resources experience preferred.
- Seasonal resort experience and/or ski industry experience preferred.
- Recreational participation in ski/snowboarding, nordic, golf, hiking, and/or mountain biking a plus.
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
