Job Summary:

The Inventory Management Specialist will play a key role in the materials function at LHH, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Sourcing, and other departments to drive improved control over inventory and develop a thorough understanding of inventory control and sourcing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide reporting and data processing support to drive improved control over inventory and develop a deep understanding of inventory control and sourcing processes.
  • Collaborate with all Supply Chain functions to develop, test, and implement new reporting, control systems, and processes.
  • Track and report on the effects of changes in lead times on operations and inventory by identifying inventory turns, lead times, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory levels.
  • Effectively communicate and develop rapport with other departments (Sales and Marketing), working towards ongoing improvement of forecasting accuracy.
  • Participate in regular planning reviews and prepare data/reports pertaining to inventory central for reviews by playing a key role in reporting key metrics and participating in root cause and corrective actions required to achieve organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain all inventory analytics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Preferably three years of inventory management experience.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and make independent decisions.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MRP/ERP systems is a plus.
