SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital is seeking a Post Doctoral Psychologist to join our established Pediatric Psychology Division in St. Louis, MO. This is a full-time position with a regular schedule and no after-hours or weekend work.
Responsibilities- Assess and provide evidence-based assessment and intervention for patients with eating disorders.
- Collaborate with medical services to provide appropriate psychological intervention for patients.
- Refers patients to other disciplines for consults and evaluations as indicated.
- Provides psychological expertise and education to multidisciplinary teams.
- Communicates complex and sensitive information to patients and medical teams.
- Carries out ongoing record keeping and case review of all psychotherapy work in compliance with institutional and state guidelines.
- Provides a continuum of short and long-term psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups based on individualized treatment plans.
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- No experience required.
- Full complement of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and PTO.
- Potential for FTE conversion upon completion.
