Job Title: Senior Living Community Relations Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Relations Director to join our team at Merrill Gardens at West Covina. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative sales and marketing plans to drive occupancy and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve and maintain a high occupancy percentage by building and maintaining a strong prospect base, responding to inquiries, and securing deposits for move-ins.
  • Manage the sales process from prospecting to move-in, including generating tours, performing follow-up, and transitioning the move-in process to other department heads.
  • Develop and implement community outreach plans to generate viable leads and create a positive reputation in the community.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to provide feedback on media advertising, community sponsorships, and other marketing opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the Activities Director and Executive Chef to plan special events that benefit existing residents and attract potential residents.
  • Conduct competitive shops regularly to stay aware of direct competitors, their offerings, and changes in management.
Requirements:
  • Four-year degree in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications preferred.
  • Three-plus years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in a related field.
