Our client, a leading global retail and ecommerce company, is looking for a Logistics Data Analyst to become part of their team. This role is a contract position, offering a hybrid work environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your expertise in the fashion sector with a dynamic brand.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Tools such as Outlook, Excel, and Word. Familiarity with transportation management system (TMS) software is essential for executing shipments, managing exceptions, engaging with stakeholders, and analyzing data. We seek an individual who is driven, results-focused, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, and eager to learn more about the logistics of goods in a retail context. This role primarily involves coordinating freight (truckload, intermodal, less than truckload) from US suppliers to distribution and fulfillment centers, ensuring timely and complete deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the booking of inbound shipments using the TMS
- Track freight movement to guarantee on-time and complete deliveries
- Collaborate with stakeholders in the supplier network, carrier community, distribution centers, and merchandising to ensure smooth goods flow
- Work alongside the Domestic Transportation team to optimize operational efficiencies and cost-effectiveness
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong Communication Skills (both written and verbal)
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
- Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
