About the Role

This position is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families affected by mental health conditions. As a Clinical Mental Health Specialist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing coordinated and assertive treatment to adolescents and young adults who are within two years of experiencing their first onset of psychosis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality care and support to participants and their families. You will serve as the primary point of contact, offering supportive therapy, psychoeducation, behavioral interventions, and family support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact: Provide regular check-ins, support, and guidance to participants and their families.
  • Psychoeducation on first-episode psychosis (FEP): Educate participants and families about FEP, its symptoms, and the goals of the OnTrackNY program.
  • Supportive therapy and behavioral interventions: Offer individualized therapy sessions, behavior modification strategies, and family-based interventions.
Requirements
  • New York State licenses: LMSW, LMHC, Psychologist, or LCSW.
  • 1-5 years of related experience.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
