This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Designer at Clients Firm. The Mechanical Designer candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and plumbing systems, with a particular focus on HVAC design. This role will involve collaboration with architects, contractors, engineers, and owners to ensure efficient building system designs.


Qualifications

  • Expertise in Revit and ACAD

  • Strong background in HVAC, mechanical piping and plumbing design, 5+ years

  • Expertise in healthcare, commercial, and educational designs

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (if applying for the position of Mechanical Engineer)


Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed HVAC, mechanical piping, and plumbing systems design for healthcare, commercial and educational projects using Revit and ACAD.

  • Collaborate with Architects, Owners, Civil, Structural, and MEP engineers to create integrated design solutions

  • Prepare technical drawings, schematics and specifications

  • Participate in multidisciplinary project teams, contributing expertise across various engineering disciplines

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Ensure designs meet project requirements, standards and codes

  • Review and coordinate with contractors during the construction phase to ensure design compliance

  • Stay updated on industry standards, codes and regulations
