Role Responsibilities:

As a Service Lab Intern, you will engage in the preparation of laboratory specimens for our epigenetic services:

  • Assist in customer projects managed by the Operations & Services Team
  • Learn to conduct assigned laboratory experiments with a focus on timeliness and quality
  • Maintain cleanliness of the laboratory workspace and equipment
  • Adhere to safety protocols as specified
  • Keep detailed records of experiments and instruments used
  • Support the Group Leader in analyzing customer project data
  • Collaborate effectively with team members on all tasks
  • Be open to occasional overtime and additional responsibilities as needed

Candidate Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is required
  • Associate's degree is preferred but not mandatory
  • Undergraduate coursework in biology, molecular biology, or a related field is preferred
  • Basic laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated reliability and accountability
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork and achieving common goals
  • Ability to work independently after training and as part of a team

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word, with accurate data entry skills
