Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities to identify areas of need.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals, working closely with educators and parents to ensure a cohesive support system.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, to promote successful academic and social outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to create a positive and inclusive school environment that supports the educational success of all students.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs, ensuring that their unique requirements are met.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with school-aged children and knowledge of special education processes.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
