Position: Bridge Design Engineer

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct and evaluate design calculations, plans, and drawings.
  • Oversee project submissions and assess submittals.
  • Investigate and implement regulations, codes, and permit requirements into design projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation.
  • Create technically precise drawings and reports.
  • Advocate for quality assurance and control methodologies.
  • Adhere to assigned budgets throughout project execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with transportation bridge projects and design standards.

Preferred Skills

  • Expertise in applicable engineering software.
  • A willingness to broaden knowledge and embrace new responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
