Job Summary

The CT Technologist PRN performs complex diagnostic imaging procedures, utilizing ionizing radiation to detect pathology. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and high-quality images for medical professionals to diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Position patients for imaging procedures, taking into account their comfort and safety
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as required
  • Process and organize images in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technologist required within 6 months
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R)
  • Associate Degree
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
