Custodian Technician Role Overview

The LineUp at Wai Kai is seeking a dedicated Custodian Technician to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our premises. Reporting to the Property Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining our facilities and grounds, ensuring all responsibilities are executed with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of outdoor areas through regular sweeping and upkeep
  • Manage waste disposal and ensure trash receptacles are kept clean
  • Trim and maintain shrubs, as well as clear any overgrowth around the property
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic working environment
  • Oversee inventory and proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms and shower facilities
  • Perform maintenance on custodial equipment as required
  • Carry out minor repairs on furniture, buildings, and other equipment
  • Identify and report safety hazards to the relevant department

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in custodial services and grounds maintenance is advantageous
  • Ability to follow directions and work autonomously
  • Knowledge of custodial practices and equipment
