About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers on paint and painting products.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
  • Build trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Stock shelves and set up displays, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Assist in making deliveries, as needed, to customers and other locations.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate tracking and management of products.
  • Suggest ways to improve sales and customer satisfaction, contributing to the store's success.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
