Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Lumicity. As a key member of our composites division, you will play a critical role in the development and production of composite parts and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering process direction and guidance for new product introductions and legacy work
  • Plan, design, develop, modify, and produce composite parts and assemblies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, with a focus on composites
  • 5+ years of experience with GD&T and CATIA
  • Strong knowledge of ITAR, AS9100, ISO, and DFAR regulations
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with small to medium-sized assemblies
  • Knowledge of other design software, such as SolidWorks or CAD
  • Experience with CNC machining and autoclave operations
Work Environment:
  • This is an onsite position, with no travel required
  • The facility is 120,000 square foot, vertically integrated manufacturing space
